There will be three organized social activities during the school (see schedule tab for precise times), open also to non-participants and partly subsidized by the school. If you wish to participate, please sign up (and pay) at the registration desk during the first two days of the school. Only cash (NIS or USD) can be accepted.
Welcome reception:
On the evening of Monday 18/12, after the (last) short-talk session in the lobby of the school venue. Wine, beer and cocktail food. Free for all registered participants.
Excursion:
An afternoon guided tour of Akko (Acre) on Wednesday, 20/12. The cost is 30USD/100NIS per person. Participants will leave by bus from the Technion and returned to their hotel/guesthouse in the end of the trip. Following the tour, the plan is to have dinner at one of the fish restaurants in Akko (price of dinner not included).
Farewell banquet:
A farewell dinner at the El-Gaucho Argentinian grill restaurant in Carmel center, on Thursday, 21/12. The cost is 30USD/100NIS per person. Transportation (to and from) for participants staying at the Forchheimer guesthouse will be arranged (details later).
